Welcome to CompassionateWay.com. Whatever your personal situation right now the place to start healing is the same: Through cultivation of friendliness, kindness and compassion for yourself. Psychology has not done a great job expressing the importance of self-compassion. Existential Psychotherapy (sometimes known as Existential-Humanistic Pyschotherapy) and meditation are methods that encourage and structure self-compassion and self-understanding through attention to oneself in the present moment. Existential psychotherapy and meditaton are fundamentally experiential and the most foundational experience for a joyful life is to appreciate yourself. That's the compassionate way.
